Seeing Different in Dublin
Rammy Narula
2 Day Workshop
Seeing Different in Dublin
Rammy Narula Street Photography Workshop
3rd & 4th May 2025, Charlemont Square, Dublin 2
Cost: €500
Course Description
"Seeing Different" is an opportunity to transform how we see and experience the world with our camera. Over two days, the workshop will help participants discover and shape their creative voices through a series of lectures, discussions, and exercises designed to help deepen their relationship with photography. Central to the Seeing Different philosophy is indeed the term relationship; how our own personal narratives connect with the external world to create photography that is truly authentic. The camera forms the conduit to this deeper connection.
Rammy will share his personal photographic journey alongside demonstrating how he uses concepts such as gesture, color, shadow, and other motifs to create deeper meaning in his work. Participants will then take their learning out into the real world. Here they will explore how these ideas can inform and refine their unique approach to making street photographs.
GOALS
To develop a comprehensive understanding of the street photography genre and the diverse ways it can be approached as a practitioner.
To lay the foundations for a personalized photography practice that feels authentic, meaningful, and purposeful.
To connect with a community of like-minded photographers seeking something deeper from their practice.
PRE-REQUISITES

Designed as a compassionate and confidence building workshop, participants will be encouraged to try different approaches in composition as they find their subject matter to photograph. The aim is to help participants discover their own styles, viewpoints, and interests.
